I've been a bit depressed (it's getting worse each day).

Lately, I've been watching a lot of "The Twilight Zone" (watched 7 episodes yesterday), reading manga (including a story with the actual "Seto Kaiba"), playing video games (Intellivision, Atari 2600, Wii, Nintendo DSi XL), watching YouTube videos, listening to the great music of 1960s record producer Joe Meek (his musical output is addictive, shame he killed himself and his female landlord in 1967), stuff like that. I hope to get some more episodes of "The Morey Amsterdam Show" to upload.

I'm so sorry to hear of your depression, Matt. Depression is an evil thing, I know. When it grabs hold, it holds on for dear life. But, please take some advise from someone who has dealt with depression for 40 years... do not let it win. If it wins, it will never leave. If depression (even clinical depression) wants to hang around you, make it work it's butt off to do so. If it's telling you that you want to do nothing but sleep, DON'T! Get out and get fresh air and be around people. It won't feel good at first, but remember, you ARE stronger than your depression, and it's getting worse because you don't know how to fight this, yet.

It's just a problem, you're a whole, intelligent, viable person with lots to contribute to life. Once you start fighting, it will learn it's place and stay there. Trust me on this, Matt. My depression only rears it's ugly head when I'm weak... which isn't often.

It does not help I cannot drive, and my parents don't like driving, so I rarely get to leave the house (and when I do, it's usually to go shopping, or taking a walk to pick up things at the post office that I bought on certain popular websites that would get this post deleted if I mentioned them by name.....let's just say one is also a rainforest that will be completely destroyed within a decade or so, and the other was the subject of a Weird Al song).

On a more positive note, they're releasing a DVD soon (or have they already?) of examples of Betty White's early TV work. That should be fun!

At lest you still got a scence of humor, that's the best (and maybe the only way) to fight depressen.
